Professor Radhika Lobo
Dr Radhika Lobo is Associate Professor of Economics, and Director, Internal Quality Assurance Cell at Birla College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Kalyan. She has an experience of 26 years in teaching at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She stood third in order of Merit in M.A. Economics (1987) and secured a M.Phil Degree for her dissertation on ‘Indo-EEC Trade (1989), Nagpur University. She was granted two year Research Fellowship by UGC in March 2000 and awarded a Ph.D Degree (2003) by Nagpur University for her work on ‘Southeast Asian Economic Development and the Role of International Financial Institutions’.
She was deputed under the Faculty Exchange Programme in April 2010 to Clayton State University, Atlanta, USA where she taught at the Clayton Business School and West Georgia College and State University, USA. She has been invited to several B-Schools as visiting faculty including, NMIMS, Mumbai, Asia Graduate School of Business, Hyderabad and BIMTECH, Noida.
Dr Lobo has published a book titled Southeast Asian Crisis: An Economic Analysis, 14 Research papers in books and journals of repute and presented several papers in national and international conferences. She is working on a Major Research Project from ICSSR and has completed four minor research projects from UGC and the University of Mumbai. She has guided 06 students for M.Phil.
She has been presented with the Award for Research Excellence by Indus Foundation in November 2014 and received the Best Research Paper Award at ITARC, London in 2010.
Dr Lobo was Convener, Steering Committee for Re-accreditation in 2008. Birla College Secured an A Grade with 3.37 CGPA on a 4 Point Scale.
