George Maroulis is Former Market President (New York Metro, Chicago Metro and Washington, D.C. Metro), Managing Director, Founder and Head of CB Private & Commercial Banking for Customer Bank, a New York Stock Exchange listed commercial bank. He is a voting member of many of the bank's critical committees including Office of the Chair; Executive Management; Strategic Initiative; Credit; and, ALCO (Asset-Liability). At Customers Bank, George developed and implemented a proprietary banking model that sourced and manages "footings" ranked within the top 6% of a total of 5,496 banks in the United States. George is an entrepreneur in addition to being a highly successful banking executive that held management and client facing roles at Citibank, Bank of America's Global Commercial and Investment Bank, Signature Bank and others. Over his business career that began in 1986, George founded and divested tech-based and logistics companies, respectively. George immigrated with his family from Greece; English was his second language; and, he was raised in The Bronx. He founded and is a director of Musical Instrument Learning for Kids (MILKUSA.org), a not-for-profit that provides musical instrument scholarships to inner-city kids. George mentors undergraduate and graduate students bi-annually at University of California, Berkeley's Entrepreneurial Bootcamp where he also serves as a speaker and panelist judge. George is a member of numerous professional and not-for-profit organizations including as a President's Club member of the Economic Club of New York. George studied Political Science and Economics at Columbia University and lives in New York City with his 11-year-old daughter Sofia.
